Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 20, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Rafter 9 Ranch (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in a safe and responsible manner. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit rafter9.ag, engage with our services, or receive our messages.

2. Information we collect

We may collect personal information from you in a number of ways — when you visit our site, place an order, subscribe to our email list, fill out a contact form, or otherwise interact with the services we make available. The personal information we may collect includes:

  • Contact information. Name, email address, phone number, and mailing address. On our contact form, only your name and email are required; a phone number is optional.
  • Usage data. Information about how you use our website, products, and services.
  • Transactional information. Order history and customer service interactions. Card details are handled by Stripe — see section 4.
  • Device information. Information about the device you use to reach our website, including IP address, browser type, and operating system.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiries, requests, and feedback.
  • To call or text you back about your inquiry, if you give us your phone number. These are one-to-one messages from us — we do not run an automated or bulk text-message program.
  • To process orders and send you messages about your order.
  • To send periodic emails about our bulls, beef availability, and other news, where you have asked to receive them. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link.
  • To improve our website and our customer service.
  • To prevent fraud and keep our website secure.

4. Cookies, analytics, and third-party services

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies, and relies on a small number of third-party services. Each of these providers handles your data under its own privacy policy:

  • Google Analytics 4. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use our site. It sets cookies and collects usage and device information, including a truncated IP address. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.
  • Google reCAPTCHA. Our forms use reCAPTCHA to block spam. It collects device and usage signals and is subject to Google’s privacy policy and terms.
  • Stripe. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe — we never see or store them. Stripe handles that information under its own privacy policy.
  • Instagram. Our pages embed an Instagram feed, which may set cookies from Meta when it loads.
  • Google Fonts. Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which involves a request to Google’s servers.

You can set your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when one is being set. Some parts of the site may not work properly if you disable them.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share it only with the third-party service providers described in section 4, and only so they can help us operate our website and business — for example, processing a payment or delivering an email. We may share aggregated, de-identified statistics that cannot be used to identify you.

6. Data security and retention

We use appropriate collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your personal information and transaction data. We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described here, or as long as the law requires us to.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Ask us to delete your personal information.
  • Object to our processing of your personal information.
  • Ask us to restrict how we process your personal information.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on your consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at mark@rafter9.ag.

8. Changes to this Privacy Policy

Rafter 9 Ranch may update this Privacy Policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to check back so you stay informed about how we protect the information we collect.
